Okay, so, like, the cheapest place to fly in Southeast Asia? I've been looking this up too, for, uh, reasons. Haha.

From London - LON, you gotta check out flightlist.io. It's pretty good because it lets you search all the London airports, not just Heathrow. This is useful, like, really useful.

Here is more intel on finding those cheap flights:

• Reddit's r/Shoestring is awesome for finding advice. I've gotten some, some, some really good travel hacks there. Did i say some?
• Look for flights to Kuala Lumpur (KUL), Malaysia, and Bangkok (BKK), Thailand. I've def heard Bangkok is a winner winner chicken dinner.
• If you’re flying from LAX (Los Angeles), check which SEA country's cheapest specifically. I know that flights out of california can get expensive, wow, expensive.
• It's all about being flexible! Like, flying midweek (Tuesday or Wednesday) and during the off-season makes a HUUUGE difference. I flew to malasia in febuary one year.

• Local Villages: See how folks really live. It's like glamping, only less glamorous and more real.
• Waterways: Cruise around. Pretend you're Indiana Jones, but instead of finding treasure, you're finding… fish. Yep. Lots of fish. I swear I saw one wink at me, though that could be the sunstroke. I swear! My feet are sweating just thinking about it.

Okay, so, like, the best Southeast Asia route? Uh, it's gotta be something like this, right? Listen up;

First, you gotta do Malaysia, like, the peninsula, ya know, down the west coast.

Then zip over to Singapore, which is small, but it’s something, but you won't stay forever.

Back to Malaysia, either north on the east coast or, even cooler, fly over to Borneo. I prefer Borneo.

Next up, Thailand, do the south and the north. Obv.

Then? Gotta be Laos. Super chill there.

Followed by Cambodia. Temples, temples everywhere.

And finally, Vietnam. It's great.

I mean, it's not the only way to do it but it’s my personal fave, I think, it is.

• Why this order? It kinda flows well geographically, like down and then up? You can do it.
• Flights or buses? I usually use buses. It's cheaper. I took my first flight at age 28 because, well, buses.
• How long? Minimum, I'd say, three months. You could spend, ah, an entire year traveling there, though.
