What is the highest salary for a Waiter?
Seriously, a waiter's salary can swing WILDLY in India! I saw this report saying it goes from like, ₹1,700 a month to ₹91,700?! Isn't that insane? What even IS that huge gap about? I mean, I've waited tables before – summer job, you know? – and it’s tough work. You're on your feet forever, dealing with, well, sometimes difficult people, and constantly juggling orders. So to think someone is making that much... I’m guessing it has to be some super fancy restaurant, right? Like, where the napkins are made of silk and the water costs more than my rent. Maybe they get amazing tips? Or, I don't know, maybe they own part of the place? It's mind-boggling to think about. You'd think with that kind of a high end, everyone else would be getting paid decently too. Makes you wonder about the whole system, doesn't it? It’s just so…uneven. One waiter barely scraping by, another living the high life. Crazy, right?
