When to avoid Krabi?

Avoid Krabi after March for hot, humid weather. April-November sees fewer crowds but also higher rainfall and potentially less ideal beach conditions.

Okay, so, thinking about skipping Krabi sometimes? Right, me too. I mean, who wants to be a sweaty mess, right? Definitely want to avoid that sticky, icky feeling. So, yeah, after March… forget it. Like, seriously, it gets HOT. Humid too. I remember one April, thinking I’d be clever, going off-season… Ha! It poured. Like, buckets. For days. We ended up playing cards in our little bungalow most of the time. Not exactly the beach vacation I’d pictured, you know? From what I’ve heard – and experienced! – April through November is kinda… iffy. Fewer people, sure, which is a plus. But the rain, ugh. And sometimes the beaches aren’t so great because of it. You know, murky water, debris… not the turquoise paradise you see on those postcards. So, yeah, if picture-perfect beaches are your thing, maybe think twice about going then. But hey, if you’re okay with a bit of rain and maybe some indoor activities, who knows? Could be a different kind of adventure. Just don’t expect constant sunshine and perfect beach days, is all I’m saying.
