Where can I wirelessly charge my phone?
Ugh, dead phone battery? The worst, right? Seriously, where is a decent place to charge this thing wirelessly? I swear, it's like a quest sometimes!
I've had luck at a few places. You know, those trendy cafes that are all sleek wood and exposed brick? They sometimes have them. I found one at a Starbucks near my office – that was a lifesaver, once. And hotels, obviously, especially the newer ones, are usually pretty good about having wireless charging spots in their lobbies or maybe even the rooms. Remember that time I was in that tiny airport in Denver? Nearly panicked until I spotted a little charging station near the gate. Bless that airport!
Apparently, some fast food places are getting into the wireless charging game too. I read somewhere that McDonald's and YO! Sushi are putting them in, which is kinda surprising, but also… fantastic? Imagine, finally having enough battery to post that perfect Instagram picture of your sushi before it gets cold!
It's still a bit hit-or-miss, though, isn't it? You kind of just have to hunt around and hope for the best. Maybe one day they'll be everywhere, like, you know, regular outlets, but until then… the search continues!
