Found a one-way for, get this, £212! From London Stansted to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi. That's insane, right? Saw it, like, within the last 3 days, so its pretty recent.

Round trip? A bit more, obviously, but still good. About £304 from London Heathrow to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi. Also saw it recently.

It all depends on the dates, time of year, and you know, how flexible you are. But flights are pretty darn cheap lately.

I remember checking for my cousin Steve, he, uh, really wanted to go to Thailand so. I’m pretty good at finding travel stuff. Its kinda my thing. So anyway, Steve's trip? He went in January, booked in November, so it's important to plan ahead.

• Stansted vs Heathrow - Stansted is way further from my house.

• Check skyscanner, Momondo, etc. They find the best prices.

One time, when I was looking at flights somewhere (uh, dont remember where), I found that flying on a Tuesday was way cheaper! Always check different days of the week. Booking during the week is also supposed to be better than weekends.

Oh! And if you are really, really brave, maybe check out repositioning cruises? But those are rare, and usually longer.

Direct flights to Phuket from the UK exist. Yeah. From Manchester, Birmingham, and Gatwick. Why am I even thinking about this? Just...Gatwick. Feels like a lifetime ago I was even near an airport.

• Birmingham: My aunt lives there. Don't see her much.
• London Gatwick: Used to fly from there. Feels distant, like some other person's memory.
