Where should I go in Vietnam for the first time?
Best Places to Visit in Vietnam for First-Timers?
Okay, so Vietnam, huh? First time? Definitely hit up the south.
October to April's the sweet spot. Think Ho Chi Minh City – buzzing, crazy, amazing street food. Then the Mekong Delta – I went in November 2022, spent around $50 a day, boat trips are a must!
Seriously, the waterways are incredible after the rainy season. So lush, so green. I remember one particular floating market, the colors, the smells, the chaos… unforgettable.
Phu Quoc Island is a must too. Beautiful beaches, crystal clear water. Think relaxation after the frenetic city life. It's pricey compared to the mainland, though.
South Vietnam for a first timer is perfect. Trust me on this one. You won’t regret it.
