Where should you not sit on a bus?
Avoid sitting at the back of the bus's bottom deck to minimize exposure to engine fumes and food odors, which can worsen nausea. Priority seating on the bottom deck is preferable. Alternatively, choose an aisle seat on the top deck, approximately three rows from the front.

Worst Bus Seats to Avoid?
Back of the bus? No way. My stomach churns just thinking about it. Diesel fumes and, ugh, who knows what people are eating. 23rd July, bus to Birmingham, worst journey ever. Sat in the back, someone's greasy chips made me green.
Priority seats downstairs are decent. Less bumpy, closer to the exit for fresh air. Spent £15 on that Birmingham trip. Wish I'd known then.
Top deck, front, aisle seat, three rows back? Gold. Did that on the way back, 24th July. So much better. Still smelled a little exhaust, but manageable.
