What is the advantage of using Uber?

Ugh, Uber. Convenience, that’s the big one, right? Door to door. No more hailing cabs in the freezing rain like last Tuesday. Seriously, that was brutal.

Safety? Debatable. I’ve had good rides, mostly. But that whole background check thing? Kinda wish it was more transparent. And the app itself – sometimes it’s glitchy as hell!

Reliability. That’s a big plus. Getting a ride is usually quick and easy. Unless it’s New Year’s Eve, then forget about it. Total chaos! Makes you appreciate those regular rides even more.

The price? It fluctuates wildly! Surge pricing is infuriating. I’ve paid insane amounts sometimes. Need to plan better.

Gig economy thing? Yeah, I read about that. Drivers are independent contractors. Makes me wonder about their benefits. They’re the ones who actually get the brunt of the work.
