How flexible is Eurotunnel?
So, how flexible is Eurotunnel, really? Well, it depends. I mean, it can be pretty good, especially if you're willing to shell out a bit more for a Flexiplus ticket. Those are fully refundable, which is amazing – peace of mind and all that. Who hasn't had travel plans go sideways, right? I remember that time I was supposed to go to a friend's wedding in Paris, and my kid got sick... Flexiplus would have been a lifesaver then. Just a thought.
But, and this is a big but (isn't there always?), you gotta watch out for those peak days. They slap you with an extra charge, and it can be anything from a tenner to, get this, two hundred and fifty quid! Per leg! Ouch. Can you believe that? So, "flexible" comes with a pretty hefty price tag sometimes. It's almost like, what's the point of flexible if you can't afford to be flexible? Anyway, something to think about. Just do your research and check the dates carefully. You don't want any nasty surprises.
