How much time does it take for express delivery?

Ugh, you know, I hate waiting for packages. How long does express delivery actually take? It's always a gamble, isn't it? I mean, they say 1-3 days, right? Express shipping – whoosh, by air – but that extra cost stings a little. Remember that time I ordered that ridiculously cute cat sweater for Mittens? Said express delivery, took FOUR days. Four! I was practically climbing the walls. Seriously, I'd started knitting her a replacement already, just in case. It finally showed up, all crumpled, but Mittens adored it, at least. So that was a small victory.

Standard shipping? Yeah, that's the 2-8 day land snail route. Cheaper, for sure, but my patience isn't exactly bottomless. I once waited almost a week for a new phone charger – the agony! I almost felt like moving back to dial-up just for the novelty of something not being delayed. (Don't judge, I'm only half-joking!)
