How reliable is FedEx next day delivery?

Is FedEx next-day delivery really reliable? I mean, we've all heard horror stories about packages going astray, right? But honestly, in my experience, FedEx Overnight has been pretty darn good. I've used it a bunch of times – like that time I desperately needed a new laptop charger before a big presentation (talk about stress!). It arrived before noon the next day, exactly as promised. Phew! Saved the day. They also have this tracking thing, so you can basically stalk your package's every move. You know how it is, you just have to know where your precious cargo is! From what I've seen – and I'm no expert, just a regular person shipping stuff – it seems pretty reliable. I’ve even heard, somewhere, can’t remember where, that their on-time delivery rate is super high… something like 98% or something? Don't quote me on that, though! But seriously, for important stuff, I'd probably trust them. It’s not a guarantee, of course, nothing ever is, but it's definitely worth considering.
