What is safer, a ship or a plane?

Generally, boats are safer than planes. Ferry boats, in particular, demonstrate a low incidence of fatalities, with only four deaths recorded in a study, suggesting a higher safety level compared to air travel.

Is air travel safer than sea travel?

Okay, so, are boats safer than planes? Lemme tell ya, airplanes kinda freak me out a little. I always feel like a tin can hurtling through the sky, ya know?

Generally, seems sea travel is safer. Think about it. I mean, okay, I get very seasick, which is not fun. But still.

I read this thing once - like, ages ago, maybe 2015? - about ferry fatalities. It was surprisingly low!

According to that study there were just four deaths related to ferry boats.

Four! In years. That's kinda wild, right? I mean, planes crash more often, sadly.

I've been on ferries in Hong Kong (super cheap, amazing views!) and, like, the Channel ferries to France (expensive, dull!). They always felt pretty stable.

So yeah, personally, I'd say, if I had to pick, boat feels safer. My motion sickness agrees with this statement. Although, flying is def faster… Decisions, decisions.
