Ugh, package exception? So frustrating! Mine happened last December 12th, a blizzard hit Syracuse, everything was delayed.

My package, a new pair of boots I’d ordered from Zappos (cost me $150!), was stuck. It finally arrived three days later.

• System glitches: It's 2024; even sophisticated systems have hiccups sometimes. Don't underestimate the power of technology malfunctions. They're a real pain. The tracking system might just be lagging, too.

What to do:

• Check your tracking information religiously. Seriously. This is key.
• Contact the carrier immediately. Don't wait around. Get those answers!
• Verify your address is accurate. A small mistake can cause huge problems! Be meticulous, people.

My last delivery exception involved a mislabeled package - the label was partially obscured by a sticker. It was hilarious and annoying at the same time.
