Are foods in Vietnam cheap?
Is Vietnamese food affordable? Cost of eating in Vietnam?
Okay, so is Vietnamese food affordable? Short answer: yes, incredibly.
Honestly, eating in Vietnam didn't break the bank at all for me. I think I spent maybe, maybe, $10 USD max for a really good dinner? Like, forget cooking – eating out was cheaper!
I remember this Pho place in Hanoi, on Dinh Liet street actually, think it was maybe 35,000 VND (Around $1.50), steaming bowl of happiness. Unbelievable. I mean, a feast.
Dinner, average price: Expect to shell out between 50,000 VND to 200,000 VND. Cheaper grub comes from local eateries; fancier places, well, more expensive, duh.
Seriously, Vietnam's like, the ultimate budget travel destination. Food is just one perk. I could probably live there on, like, $20 a day! If I wanted to, mind you.
