Okay, so like, yeah, a UK mile and a US mile? They are the same.

Since like, 1959 or somethin'. It's because of some agreement on the yard and pound. The International yard and pound, it was agreed upon back then.

Before that, things were a little off. The Imperial yard and the US customary yard... yeah, they weren't exactly the same, you know?
