Eligibility
All Laotian citizens holding a valid passport are eligible for visa-free entry into Thailand.
Duration of Stay
Visa-free entry allows Laotian citizens to stay in Thailand for a maximum of 30 days from the date of entry.
Entry Points
Laotian citizens can enter Thailand through any of the following designated air and land entry points:
- Air: Bangkok International Airport (BKK), Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX), Phuket International Airport (HKT), and other designated international airports.
- Land: Nong Khai border crossing (via Lao-Thai Friendship Bridge), Huay Xai border crossing, Chiang Khong border crossing, and other designated border checkpoints.

- Sufficient funds for their intended stay (amount may vary depending on the length of stay)
Extension of Stay
Laotian citizens who wish to extend their stay in Thailand beyond 30 days must apply for a visa extension at the Immigration Bureau of Thailand.
