Can I keep my Capital One card if I move abroad?
Is it true I can keep my Capital One card even if I pack my bags and move abroad? Seriously?! That's amazing! I was so stressed about what I'd do with my card. I mean, closing a credit card can ding your credit score, right? And building that up took forever. Remember that time I tried to get that car loan and... never mind. Anyway, knowing I can just keep using it like normal is such a weight off my shoulders. One less thing to worry about with this whole crazy international move! Although… those pesky foreign transaction fees. Ouch. I got hit with those pretty hard when I was in Italy last year. Remember those amazing leather sandals I bought? Yeah, the fees on that purchase were almost as much as a cheap pair of flip-flops! Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a little. But still. Definitely something to keep in mind and budget for. But hey, at least I don't have to go through the hassle of getting a whole new card in a new country. That's a win in my book!
