Can I pee during takeoff?

Okay, so, can you pee during takeoff? Seriously, I always seem to need to go right then! You know that feeling, right? Like you’re being smushed into your seat, all that pressure, and on top of it all, your bladder’s like, “Hey! Remember me?!” It’s the worst! I swear, every single flight, I’m practically crossing my legs as we’re taxiing. One time, I was on this flight to Florida – it felt like the longest takeoff ever – and I thought I was actually going to explode. No joke. Isn’t that ridiculous? Then, that glorious ding! Sweet, sweet relief… or so you think. Then it’s a race against everyone else who’s been holding it for dear life. Like, come on, why can’t we just sneak a quick pee if we absolutely have to? I mean, what’s the big deal? It’s not like we’re going to throw off the plane’s balance or something, right? (Maybe? I don’t know, I’m not a pilot!) It just seems so silly. Anyway, yeah, it’s a whole thing.
