Can I Use CLEAR with Any Airline?

CLEAR is an expedited security screening service that allows travelers to skip the regular security line at select airports. CLEAR uses biometric identification to verify travelers’ identities, allowing them to move through security more quickly.

CLEAR is available to passengers flying on any airline, but some airlines offer discounted memberships to their loyalty program members. For example, United MileagePlus and Delta SkyMiles members can receive discounts of up to $60 on CLEAR memberships. These discounts increase with higher elite status.

If you are a member of a participating airline loyalty program, you can sign up for CLEAR and receive the discount by providing your loyalty program number. You can also add your CLEAR membership to your airline account, which will allow you to use CLEAR at any of the airports where it is accepted.

If you are not a member of a participating airline loyalty program, you can still sign up for CLEAR, but you will not be eligible for the discount. CLEAR memberships cost $179 per year, or $165 per year if you are a member of AAA.
