Can I withdraw cash in Vietnam?
Can I withdraw cash from ATMs in Vietnam? ATM access?
Alright, so you're wondering about gettin' cash outta ATMs in Vietnam? Yeah, you can totally do that.
ATMs are EVERYWHERE, I swear. Every city has 'em. No prob there.
Okay, listen, from what I experienced, there's usually a limit on how much you can yank out with a foreign card. It's somethin' like 2 to 10 million VND.
And yeah, the bank in Vietnam will probably charge you a fee. I'm talkin' roughly 25.000-50.000 VND. So like, one or two bucks. No stress.
Last time I went, maybe November 2022, in Hanoi, I used a Citibank card at a Vietcombank ATM. Had to pay a 30.000 VND fee on top of my bank's international fee. Grrr.
Make sure you call your own bank before you go! Wanna know what they're gonna ding you for using your card abroad, you know? Saved me from a huge suprise once.
