Splitting flight tickets? Ugh, don't even get me started! It's such a pain, honestly. But sometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do, right? I mean, who wants to pay a fortune if you can avoid it? I've been there, done that – desperately searching for cheaper flights, even if it means two separate bookings and a nail-biting layover in… where was it? Oh yeah, that tiny airport in Denver. Three hours. With only a sad-looking vending machine for company. Never again, I swore! Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a little. It did save me, like, $200. Which was amazing at the time. But the whole time I was travelling, I was stressing – what if the first flight is delayed? What if my luggage gets lost between airlines? You know that feeling, right? That knot in your stomach? So, yeah, cheaper, yes. But is it worth the potential travel nightmare? It's a tough call, isn't it? You really have to weigh the pros and cons. Sometimes it’s totally worth it, sometimes… not so much. Just remember my Denver story. Just saying.
