Can you add plane tickets to Google Wallet?

Okay, so, can you add plane tickets to Google Wallet? Ugh, this whole Google Wallet and boarding passes thing... It's a bit of a headache, isn't it? I mean, it should be simple, right? Like, you book a flight, BAM, it's in your wallet. But noooooo.

From what I've been reading, it only really works perfectly if you have a Pixel 3 or higher – seriously? What about the rest of us Android users? Or even people with iPhones? I feel like I'm being punished for not buying the "right" phone! And even then, you need a screenshot sometimes, which, honestly, feels so clunky! Remember that time I was rushing through security and had to fumble with screenshots because the airline app glitched? Not fun.

Couldn't they just make it simpler? Like, automatically adding boarding passes from my email, like some other apps do? It feels unnecessarily complicated, and honestly, it makes me almost want to just stick with printing them out. I know, I know, so old-school, but at least it works!

The tech should be working for me, not against me, you know? Isn't that the whole point? I mean, shouldn't it just know my flights from my Gmail and say, "Hey, wanna add this to your wallet?" Is that too much to ask? I'm not sure. Maybe I'm just getting old and cranky. ;)
