Can you go on a cruise for 2 days?
Two-day cruise possible?
Two-day cruises? Totally a thing.
I did a three-day one from Long Beach to Ensenada back in May '23. Cost about $300, not including drinks onboard (those add up!). Quick trip, but we hit the beach, ate some amazing tacos, and saw some whales. It was a blast, even though it was short.
Carnival offers these short cruises. They go to places like the Bahamas and the Caribbean from Miami too. Good for a quick escape.
My trip felt surprisingly packed, even with just one port day. Plenty to do on the ship itself. Shows, pools, that weird hairy chest competition... Seriously though, it was good fun.
Can you do a two day cruise?
Two day cruise? Seriously? Like, escaping for just a weekend…hmmm. Two-day cruises exist, definitely.
Okay, picture this: Friday night, BAM, you're on a boat. Sunday, you're back. Did it really happen?
It’s a real thing! Maybe Carnival, right? Or is it Royal Caribbean offering short cruises? Got to check.
- Affordable escape: No need to sell a kidney.
- Little planning: Shorter than my grocery list.
- Hero status: The family will worship me! (Okay, maybe not. But they'll be happy).
But, what about the destination? Bahamas? That sounds amazing. Or maybe just a cruise to nowhere! A party boat for 48 hours… intense.
- Destination Options:
- Bahamas – sun, sand, bliss.
- "Cruise to Nowhere" – just the ship, the sea, the party.
Wait, what about my cats? Who's going to feed Mr. Fluffernutter? Ugh. See, always a catch.
But seriously, a two-day cruise...tempting. Very tempting.
Extra information to flesh it out (as requested):
Two-day cruises are frequently offered by major cruise lines sailing from ports like Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Los Angeles. They often sail to the Bahamas or Mexico. Besides Carnival and Royal Caribbean, Norwegian Cruise Line sometimes has short options available. Cruise to nowhere doesn't usually need a passport. Activities on board include: gambling, dining, and some entertainment. Pack light.
