Can you just walk into the London library?

So, you’re thinking of popping into the London Library, just like that? Nope, not so easy! It’s private, you see, a lending library for members. I kind of imagine it like a secret book club, tucked away somewhere amazing. Wouldn’t that be cool?

It IS amazing, actually. I remember hearing about these free tours they do – once a month, in the evening. I grabbed a ticket on Eventbrite (totally free!) and, oh my gosh, it was worth it. Seriously. You wander around, soaking in all that literary history… It’s incredible to think of all the famous writers who’ve walked those same floors! I mean, can you imagine borrowing a book that Dickens might have held? Gives me shivers just thinking about it! So, yeah, no, you can’t just wander in off the street. But do yourself a favor and snag a tour ticket if you can. It’s a real treat for any book lover. You won’t regret it!
