Totally! Ho Chi Minh City is amazing. I wandered around last April, getting completely lost and loving it.

The motorbike traffic is insane, but somehow it works. Seriously, a crazy symphony of horns and scooters. I even managed to cross a street without dying.

I found this tiny pho place near Ben Thanh Market, cost me maybe $2. The best pho I’ve ever had. Seriously, life-changing.

Exploring the city’s older districts was a breeze, unlike the traffic. So many cool temples and French colonial buildings.

One day I stumbled upon this street food stall selling Banh Mi – incredible. Think crispy baguette, pickled veggies, pate… pure deliciousness.

Definitely recommend walking around. You’ll see things you’d miss on a bus. Just be mindful of the traffic, obviously.

Get lost. Explore the markets. Eat everything. Ho Chi Minh City is a sensory overload in the best way possible.

Think of it less as a clearly marked path and more like a historical suggestion scribbled on the landscape, heavily edited by time and, you know, modern roads. Walking the entire thing? Not unless you’re secretly a superhuman with a penchant for dodging semis.

It’s not one continuous path. Forget visions of a leisurely stroll from point A to point B. It’s fragmented, a network morphed by development.
