Walking
It is possible to walk from Terminal 3 to the International Terminal. The distance between the two terminals is approximately 0.5 miles (0.8 kilometers). This walk takes about 10-15 minutes, depending on your pace.
To walk from Terminal 3 to the International Terminal:
- Exit Terminal 3 and follow the signs for the International Terminal.
- Cross the roadway and continue straight ahead.
- You will pass by Terminal 2 on your left.
- Continue walking until you reach the International Terminal.
AirTrain
The AirTrain is a free automated transit system that connects all of SFO's terminals. It is a convenient and quick way to travel between terminals.
To take the AirTrain from Terminal 3 to the International Terminal:
- Go to the AirTrain station in Terminal 3.
- Board the AirTrain and select "International Terminal" as your destination.
- The AirTrain will take you to the International Terminal in a few minutes.
