Do flight attendants go home every day? Seriously, it's such a common question! And the answer is... it totally depends. Sometimes, yeah! Like, if I have a quick flight to, say, Chicago and back, I'm home that evening, snuggled in my own bed. Bliss! But other times? Nope, not a chance. After a long haul to, I don't know, Tokyo, for example – are we going straight home? Absolutely not. It's exhausting! We have required rest periods, thankfully – it’s the law, which is good because who could function otherwise? So, the airline puts us up in hotels. It's… a weird mix, honestly. It is kinda glamorous to wake up in a new city sometimes, you know? I mean, who wouldn’t want a peek at somewhere new? But then, other times, I’m just so tired and I miss my own bed something fierce. And my family, of course. There's nothing like being home after a long, tiring flight. Isn't that the truth?
