Do people even stay out late in London anymore? It really makes me sad, you know? London's legendary nightlife? It's shrinking! Can you believe it? Apparently, something like half of us are tucked up in bed before midnight – even if we don't want to be! Remember those late-night wanderings? Bumping into someone you haven't seen in ages? Sharing a laugh, a cigarette, a story outside a kebab shop at 3am? Those moments are fading. And it's not just about the cost of everything being so crazy expensive these days (although, seriously, who can afford five pints and a night bus?!). It's more than that. It feels like... I don't know... like the city's losing a little bit of its sparkle. It's like, remember pre-pandemic, when Soho on a Friday night was buzzing, electric? Now, it's...different.
