Ugh, Basic Economy on United? Free checked bag? Ha! You wish! That's, like, the first thing they take away to save a buck. Seriously, right? Makes me so mad. Basically, you're paying for the privilege of sitting upright and praying your backpack doesn't get squished by the person in front of you. I've been there.
