Do you get free alcoholic drinks in Comfort Plus?
Do Comfort Plus passengers get free alcoholic drinks?
No. Complimentary beer and wine are provided in Delta Comfort+ and First Class. Main Cabin passengers can purchase alcoholic beverages. Non-alcoholic drinks like coffee, tea, juice, and mini Coke cans are available in all cabins.
Ugh, flying! Do they ever make it easy? So, you’re wondering about free booze in Delta Comfort+, right? Because, let me tell you, that’s something I’ve wondered myself more than once. I mean, who doesn’t want a little something to take the edge off a long flight, am I right?
The short answer is: nope, no free alcoholic drinks in Comfort+. Bummer, I know. It’s a bit of a let down, especially after paying extra for that slightly bigger seat and slightly less cramped experience. I remember once, flying back from a conference in Denver – I was so exhausted – and I really craved a glass of wine. Ended up paying a small fortune for it! Seriously, felt like highway robbery at 30,000 feet.
But hey, at least you get free non-alcoholic drinks. Coffee, tea, juice – the usual suspects. Think of it as a healthy option, I guess? I’ll try to convince myself of that the next time I’m stuck with lukewarm soda. Delta does offer complimentary beer and wine in First Class – and, weirdly enough, even in regular Delta Comfort+ – but not in all Delta Comfort+ flights, that’s what I’ve heard from other travellers. So it is inconsistent.
It’s kinda annoying, isn’t it? Paying extra for more comfort, but still having to pay extra for a decent drink. Oh well, another reason to save up for First Class someday! Maybe then I’ll actually enjoy the flying experience instead of just enduring it. Until then, I guess I’ll just stick to the complimentary water. And maybe sneak a mini-bottle of something stronger into my carry-on… just kidding! (mostly).
