Does the United Boeing 757-300 have TVs?
Ugh, flying can be such a drag sometimes, right? I was just wondering about those older Boeing 757-300s – you know, the ones that feel a little…vintage? Do they even have TVs? I remember flying on one a few years back, and it felt like stepping back in time. No screens at all, just...me and my thoughts for hours. Not exactly ideal for a transatlantic flight, let me tell you. Apparently, the answer is a big fat no. No seatback TVs on those 757-300s.
It's kind of crazy, isn't it? How much things vary even within the same airline, sometimes. I mean, I've flown on 757-200s before – different model, I know – and they did have those little personal screens. Small, maybe a little pixelated, but still better than nothing. And then you get on a 737 and it's a whole different ball game with the DirectTV or whatever – sometimes it works great, other times… let's just say I've spent many flights staring out the window. So it just really depends on luck of the draw and the specific plane, huh? It's a bit of a gamble. Maybe I should start packing a really good book. Or, you know, download a bunch of podcasts. I really should do that.
