Does Trenitalia have outlets?
Okay, so, about outlets on Trenitalia trains… Yes, they usually do. But, like, it's not a guarantee, you know? I mean, I've definitely been on those super nice high-speed ones – the Frecciarossa, Frecciargento, those kinds – and they pretty much always have outlets. Super handy for keeping my phone charged, especially on those longer trips to Rome. Remember that time we went to Florence? Plugged in my phone the whole way, no problem! But then, I've also been on some of the slower regional trains… and sometimes, nada. Nothing. So frustrating! Why wouldn't they have outlets these days?! It seems so basic. Anyway, the best thing to do is probably check when you book. Look at the details of your specific train. Don't just assume, because you might get stuck with a dead phone and no way to Instagram the amazing views. ???? Trust me. It's better to be safe than sorry.
