How do I get into the cave in Blackthorn City?

Okay, so you wanna get into that cave in Blackthorn City, huh? Ugh, I remember that. Team Rocket... seriously, what a bunch of annoying pests!

First things first, you gotta deal with them at the Game Corner. Trust me, it's a pain, but you gotta beat them to get the Basement Key. I spent, like, hours there trying to win! Then, it's down into that kinda creepy underground tunnel. Keep an eye out on the right side – you're looking for a blue door. Can't miss it, really.

Now, don't think you're done yet! Oh no, more Rocket grunts are waiting inside. Honestly, battling them felt like a never-ending chore. Are they ever gonna give up? You gotta push through though!

And finally, you get to face the director. Just... beat him. He's not too tough, I think I had my Quilava out at that point? Anyway, once you win, he's basically so relieved, he practically throws the Gym Key at you! Like, "Take it! Just get out of my face!" And then, finally, you can get into that stupid cave.
