Then, boats. Speedboats are QUICK. I'm talkin' like, whoosh 20-30 minutes. More $$$, though.
Ferries are cheaper, yeah, BUT it's like, a whole hour and a half. I took one once... it was an experience.
My personal "duh" moment? Many resorts have private boats! I stayed at An Lam Retreats Ninh Van Bay once (expensive, okay, like 500$/night, but worth it IMHO). Their boat pick-up was a DREAM. I coulda saved myself ferry-induced seasickness. Live and learn, I guess, haha.
