How to get from Hanoi to Lan Ha Bay? Transportation options?

Ugh, getting to Lan Ha Bay from Hanoi? Let me tell you, it's a bit of a journey.

First, you gotta get to Cat Ba Island. I took a bus from Hanoi's My Dinh Bus Station last July, cost me around 150,000 VND. Took about three hours, pretty scenic actually. A taxi's quicker, but way pricier.

Then, Cat Ba Town to Beo Harbor. Easy peasy. Grab a taxi or cyclo, maybe 50,000 VND max. From Beo Harbor, boats zip you to Lan Ha Bay. Lots of tours offer this.

So Hanoi to Cat Ba (bus or taxi), Cat Ba to Beo Harbor (taxi or cyclo), Beo Harbor to Lan Ha Bay (boat tour). Hope this helps! It was a bit chaotic but totally worth it!
