How far is it from Ontario to BC by car? Seriously, I've been wondering this myself! I was thinking about visiting my cousin in Vancouver – he's always been saying I should come out west, and you know, maybe I will someday. But wow, the distance…

I looked it up, and if you're going from, say, Ottawa like me, to Vancouver, it's apparently a staggering 4,363 kilometers. Four THOUSAND. That's insane, right? I mean, I did that crazy road trip from Toronto to Montreal once – and that felt long – but this? This is… different. They say it's around a 43-hour drive non-stop. Forty-three hours! I don't even think I could do it. My knees would be screaming, my back would be a knotted mess, and I'd probably need a month of therapy afterwards! Seriously, who has the stamina for that?! I bet you'd see more tumbleweeds than people on some stretches, ha!

It's not just the driving, either; I bet you'd need to plan several overnight stops, maybe even more. And that adds more time and, well, money too. I remember reading about this couple who tried to do it in one go – they were exhausted and had to pull over like, a million times. It was just awful. So yeah, maybe flying isn’t such a bad idea after all. A cross-country road trip sounds romantic in theory, but the reality...ugh. It’s a massive undertaking!
