Ever wonder how long that crazy A train ride in NYC actually is? I mean, it feels like it goes on forever sometimes, right? Well, I looked it up, because I was curious myself. Turns out the longest single ride you can take on the A, without having to hop off and transfer, stretches over 31 miles! That’s like…wow. From way uptown at 207th Street in Manhattan all the way out to Far Rockaway in Queens. Can you imagine?

I remember one time, I took that whole ride. Visiting a friend out in Rockaway. It took me, like, an hour and 15 minutes. Felt longer, honestly! Probably because I was stuck standing the whole way, crammed in with a million other people. But hey, at least I got to see a whole lotta city for my subway fare! 31 miles! That’s pretty wild, when you think about it.
