Route 1... how long IS that drive, really? It's seriously epic, you know? Like, almost 656 miles?! That's a LOT. I've done bits and pieces of it – the scenery is just mind-blowing, absolutely stunning. But the whole thing? In one shot? Whoa. I think I’d need, like, another vacation just to recover from that vacation! Can you imagine? It's California's longest state route, did you know that? And one of the longest in the US, I think... which is pretty impressive, right? It makes you think, doesn't it? Like, all the stories those roads could tell... I remember one time, driving down a stretch near Big Sur... the sun was setting, this crazy orange glow over the Pacific... it was magical. Honestly. Road trips just… they do something to me. They make me feel so… alive. Free. You know what I mean?
