How many crews are on a BA 777?

Now, you might be thinking, “Okay, so does it depend on how many people are flying?” You know, like if the plane’s packed to the gills with 500+ people? Well, not really. I mean, sort of, but not directly. It’s more about how long the flight is, and what kind of pampering they are offering the passengers. Are they offering a full meal service with all the bells and whistles? Then you’ll probably need more crew to make sure everyone gets their tiny bottle of wine and suspiciously shaped chicken.

Think about it: A short hop across Europe needs less crew than a 12-hour trek to Singapore. More time in the air means more meals, more drinks, more…well, more everything. And somebody’s gotta be there to hand out those tiny pillows that never quite do the trick, right?

I remember once, flying back from New York, and the crew were amazing. They were constantly walking up and down the aisles, offering drinks and snacks.
