How many days does passport delivery take?
Ugh, passport delivery! From my experience, if youre in Metro Manila, lucky you! Five working days, supposedly. But for those of us outside? A whole week. And the courier? Dont even get me started! Adding potentially 10-15 more working days? That feels like forever. Honestly, Id rather pick it up myself; the anxiety of waiting for the courier is unbearable!
Okay, so you’re wondering how long passport delivery takes, huh? Let me tell you, it can be a bit of a nail-biter! From what I’ve heard – and experienced, unfortunately – if you’re living the good life in Metro Manila, they say it should only take around five working days. Lucky ducks!
But for the rest of us, you know, out here in the provinces? Expect a whole week, minimum. A week! Can you believe it? And then… the courier. Oh, the courier. Don’t even get me started on that whole saga!
I mean, seriously, adding another potentially 10 to 15 working days on top of that? It feels like an eternity! It’s like, “Hello? I’m trying to go on vacation here!” I remember this one time I was waiting for my passport before a planned trip to Cebu. Those extra delivery days almost made me miss my flight. I’m telling you, it was incredibly stressful!
Honestly, I’ve often thought, wouldn’t it just be easier to pick it up myself? At least then you’re in control, right? Because that waiting game, that constant checking of the tracking number… the anxiety of wondering if the courier will actually find your house? It’s almost unbearable! I guess what I’m saying is, prepare yourself, and maybe, just maybe, consider the pick-up option if you can. Your sanity might just thank you for it!
