How many people traveled in 2019?

Wow, can you believe how much we all used to travel? I mean, think about 2019, before... well, you know. Apparently, a staggering 2.3 billion trips happened just within the US! That's insane, right? Most of those, like 1.9 billion, were for fun – vacations, weekend getaways, that sort of thing. And then there were the business trips, still a hefty 464 million. Remember those? I used to travel for work a lot, always rushing to airports, bad coffee, hotel rooms… sometimes I miss it, strangely. Anyway, they say travel was up that year, like 1.7% higher than 2018. Makes you wonder where everyone was going, huh? I remember taking a road trip with my family that year, all the way to the Grand Canyon. It felt like everyone had the same idea, the place was packed! It's funny how things change, isn't it?
