How many suitcases can you take on a plane for free?

Ugh, airline baggage fees are the WORST! Officially, its usually one carry-on and one personal item – think a purse or small backpack – that fly free. But usually is the killer word. Every airline tweaks their rules, so always double-check before you arrive at the airport. Otherwise, youre facing those outrageous extra charges, and that just makes me furious!

Ugh, airline baggage fees, right? Don’t even get me started! So, officially, most airlines say you get one carry-on bag and one personal item (like a purse, laptop bag, or small backpack) for free. But – and this is a BIG but – “most airlines” doesn’t mean your airline. You know? It’s like they all make up their own rules. I remember that time I flew… what was it… BudgetJet? Yeah, BudgetJet to visit my sister. I thought my little roller bag was fine, totally standard carry-on size. Nope. Apparently, their “standard” is, like, half the size of everyone else’s. Ended up having to pay something ridiculous, like $75! It was insane. Seriously, who can even keep track anymore?! So, learn from my mistakes. Always, always double-check the baggage rules on the airline’s website before you even think about packing. It’ll save you money, stress, and a whole lot of frustration. Trust me on this one.
