How much budget do I need for London trip?
Oh gosh, a week in London! Thats a tough one budget-wise. Id say 1.5 to 2.5 lakh rupees is a reasonable estimate, but it totally depends on your style. Luxury? Youll blow past that quickly! Budget backpacking? Maybe you could squeeze in cheaper. Honestly, Id aim for the higher end to avoid stressing about money and truly enjoy the experience. Its London, after all!
Okay, so, London trip budget, huh? Tricky one! A week? Hmm, that’s a good chunk of time. Honestly, off the top of my head, I’d say somewhere between 1.5 to 2.5 lakh rupees. But, and this is a BIG but, that really depends. Like, really depends. Are we talking fancy dinners every night, shows, and taxis everywhere? Because if so, whoosh, that 2.5 lakh will disappear faster than you can say “fish and chips.”
But then again, if you’re happy to rough it a bit, hostel dorms, street food (which can be AMAZING in London, by the way!), and using the Tube, you could maybe squeeze it down. I remember this one time, I was in Prague, not London, I know, but still – I managed a whole week on, like, a tenth of what I’d initially budgeted. Lots of walking, picnics in the park…it was actually pretty awesome! But London is… well, it’s London. Prices are a bit, shall we say, enthusiastic?
So, if it were me? I’d probably aim for the higher end of that estimate, that 2.5 lakh. Because, honestly, who wants to be constantly stressing about money while they’re trying to soak up the London vibes? Right? It just ruins the fun. Imagine being in front of Buckingham Palace, thinking, “Ooh, I can’t afford that extra scoop of ice cream.” Tragic! Better to have a little cushion, you know? Just in case. Plus, you never know what amazing little shops or experiences you’ll stumble across – and you don’t want to miss out just because of your budget. Just my two cents! Hope that helps…sort of! London’s calling!
