How much do you need per day Vietnam?
Daily Vietnam budget: How much money do you need per day?
Okay, so Vietnam on a budget? Hmm, it kinda depends, right? From my own trip there, I'd say maybe $30-$50 (USD) a day if you're savvy. I mean, that covers hostels (around $10-15 a night, I stayed in one in Hanoi for $12, 20 Oct), street food (insanely cheap and yummy - think pho for like $2), and maybe a bus ride or two. Taxis add up QUICKLY, so walk when you can or rent a scooter. I remeber trying to find my hostel.
Water intake in Vietnam, ah... well, hot and humid calls for LOTS of water. They recomend generally to have 2-2.5 liters (8-10 glasses) of water per day.
Honestly, sweating buckets kinda reminds you to hydrate constantly. I bought big bottles (like 1.5 liters) from mini-marts. Super cheap, like maybe 50 cents each? That number goes up or down as needed ofcourse.
The real variable is tours. Ha Long Bay? Sapa trek? Those will obviously inflate your daily spending.
