How much does a meal cost in Poland?
So, how much does a meal cost in Poland, you ask? Oh man, let me tell you, it's a rollercoaster! I mean, honestly, the food is incredible. I remember finding these amazing lunch deals, like, thirty to thirty-five zloty – that's, what, maybe seven or eight bucks? Seriously amazing value, you get a two-course meal, sometimes even dessert and a drink thrown in! I felt like I was robbing them, haha.
But then, a nice dinner for two? Oof. That easily climbed to two hundred zloty, maybe more with drinks. It's a bit of a splurge, I'll admit – we went all out one night at this place with live music, and, well, the wine flowed freely. Totally worth it though, the food was divine! Seriously, I still dream about that pierogi.
You can totally eat cheaply though, don't get me wrong. There are loads of milk bars (called bar mleczny) – they're super cheap and totally authentic. I think I had a whole plate of something amazing for like ten zloty once. But honestly? Don't skimp on at least one fancy dinner. You won't regret it, I promise. It's an experience, you know? Plus, Polish food is just that good. And the vodka... well, let's just say it adds to the experience! ????
