Obtaining a Visa on Arrival (VoA) for Bali

Indonesian authorities offer a Visa on Arrival (VoA) option for foreign visitors entering Bali through international airports. This allows travelers to obtain a visa upon landing in the country without having to apply in advance.

Cost of a Bali VoA

The cost of a Bali VoA is IDR 500,000, which is approximately USD 35 or AUD 50.

Payment Options

The VoA fee must be paid in cash, either in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) or US Dollars (USD). Euros are not accepted.

Purchase Options

There are two ways to purchase a Bali VoA:

• At the Airport: Pay the fee directly to the immigration officer upon arrival at the airport.
• Online: Visit the official Indonesian immigration website (www.imigrasi.go.id/en) to apply for an e-VoA in advance. Note that additional fees may apply for online applications.

Validity of a Bali VoA

A Bali VoA is valid for 30 days from the date of issuance.

Requirements for a Bali VoA

To qualify for a Bali VoA, you must meet the following requirements:

• Hold a passport that is valid for at least six months beyond your intended departure date from Indonesia
• Have a confirmed onward flight ticket out of Indonesia within 30 days of arrival
