So, how much does it cost to drink in Bangkok? Gosh, I was honestly surprised! I mean, I'd heard whispers, but experiencing it firsthand was something else. Remember that tiny, sweaty little bar near the river? A beer there, a proper cold Singha, was only 60 baht – that's like, what, two or three bucks? Crazy cheap! Perfect for those lazy afternoons, soaking up the atmosphere.

Cocktails were a bit more, obviously. Think 120 to 250 baht – still a total steal compared to London prices, let me tell you. I had this amazing mango mojito one night, probably around 200 baht, and it was seriously delicious. Felt like a luxury, but without the luxury price tag! Even the fancy rooftop bars, the ones with the stunning views, weren't outrageous.
