How much does it cost to go on a singles cruise?

Okay, so you wanna know about the cost of singles cruises, huh? Let me tell you, it's a topic that makes my blood boil a little! I was actually browsing some cruises for myself the other day – you know, trying to treat myself to a little fun in the sun – and I almost fell off my chair when I saw the price difference!

Seriously, are you ready for this? I was looking at this one cruise, right? And for a couple, the price was, like, $500 per person. Not bad, right? But get this: for a single person? They wanted to charge me anywhere from $750 to a thousand dollars! A THOUSAND! For the same darn cruise!

Like, what IS that about?! It's highway robbery, plain and simple! I mean, I get that they probably factor in some sort of "single supplement" thing, but come on! We're still occupying the same cabin, eating the same food, enjoying the same shows... Why should I have to shell out almost double just because I don't have a plus-one?
