How do I go from Hanoi Airport to the city?

So, you're in Hanoi airport, huh? Getting to the city's easy peasy. Three ways, really.

• Taxis: Cheap, always available, takes you right to your door. I used one last month, cost me like 150,000 dong-- a steal!

• Airport shuttle: Probably quicker than the bus, more comfy, you know? Bit more expensive than a taxi, tho. But less hassle.

• Public bus: The cheapest option for sure. But, it's a bit of a hassle. Crowded, slower, and you might get lost--not ideal with luggage.

I'd recommend a taxi, honestly. Fast, convenient, no messing around. Plus the drivers usually know where they're going—unlike some of those shuttle guys, I swear. Last time I took a shuttle it was way delayed! They were so unreliable, seriously.

Hanoi Airport taxis are readily available outside the terminal. Negotiate the fare beforehand--it's good practice, even if you use ride-hailing apps too. They're everywhere, this year. Always check the meter, though, just in case. Don't want to get ripped off. Use Grab or Gojek if you prefer, they are quite popular. Remember your hotel address, maybe even show them a picture on your phone, 'cause sometimes communication is... difficult.
