How much is fast track passport UK?

How much is a fast-track passport in the UK? Ugh, don't even get me started. It's highway robbery! £207.50 for the online premium service to get it in two days?! Are they kidding? I mean, two days! That's insane. Even the one-week Fast Track service is a whopping £166.50. It's ridiculous!

I remember once, my friend Sarah needed a passport super fast – her grandmother in Italy was ill, and she needed to fly out ASAP. She ended up having to pay for the premium service. It was so stressful for her, and the cost just added insult to injury. Who has that kind of cash just lying around?

I guess if I were in a truly desperate situation, like a non-refundable dream trip booked, I might begrudgingly cough up the cash. But honestly? It feels so predatory, you know? Like they're preying on people's anxieties and urgent needs. It makes my blood boil just thinking about it. It's almost like...what's the word...extortion? Maybe not quite that dramatic, but still. It leaves a bad taste in your mouth, doesn't it?
